Horse Boarding With Private Trail                     Available

We are a small family farm located on 28 acres of lush green rolling hills in Illinois. Currently we have 8 horses on the premises. Our entire family is involved with working and caring for all the horses throughout the day. This allows us to give very individualized care to every horse. Our farm offers you and your horse a private, scenic, and a family orientated setting.

Currently, we have 1 indoor stall available. We hope to have some limited pasture board in the future. Stall board is $210.00 per month ( Retired horse $195.00 per month ) which includes: Trail, outdoor riding/training arena, indoor stall, grain, hay, stall cleaning, daily turnouts (weather permitting), free lunge (if horse lunges) for excercise, basic grooming, and personalized attention given to both you and your horse. Flexible and customized care is available. We FOLLOW-THROUGH and FOLLOW-UP on ALL Owner Requests and Concerns.  Our emphasis is NOT on looks, our barn is simple but safe and clean. Our focus is on building a reputation of quality care. References available.

Private Trail on our 28 acres

Our feed consists of real grain, ( we buy a custom mix of oats and corn ). They are fed 2 full meals per day. Meals consist of grain and mixed hay or pasture. Additional grain and hay are given mid-day if necessary, ( based on condition, weight, and level of activity ). The last meal sometimes includes a carrot or apple. During the winter months, we add an extra flake of hay late in the evening. This schedule makes for a happier, healthier, and more satisfied horse.

We offer a PRIVATE and very SCENIC TRAIL which has been cut on OUR OWN 28 ACRES. It travels over rolling hills and through open and wooded areas. We will continue to add more trail off of our main. There are also additional trails located nearby at Morrison Rockwood Park with nearly 15 miles of Equestrian trails.
